Amy’s Story
When I came out I was so incredibly fortunate to have an amazing and supportive family around me. I called my little brother to tell him, and like always he told me he loved me and told me everything would be ok. In fact, he even set up a family meeting with my mom and dad to tell them he was gay to test their reaction – which was of course amazing. Even as a teenager my little brother was always my big protector.
