ALAYNE ROSALES, HMI SENIOR DIRECTOR, SELECTED FOR PINKERTON SENIOR LEADERSHIP NETWORK
Alayne Rosales, HMI Senior Director of Advocacy & Capacity Building, has been selected as one of 16 participants in the Pinkerton Senior Leadership Network (PSLN). The program consists of BIPOC senior leaders, who were chosen through a competitive selection process. These leaders report directly to the CEOs or Executive Directors of organizations that receive Pinkerton grants, with Hetrick-Martin Institute being one of the beneficiaries.
The Pinkerton Foundation’s initiative, which began in January, is a year-long journey that provides the leaders a platform to share personal and organizational challenges. Led by nonprofit Senior Executive and Diversity Strategist, Erica Hamilton, founder of the consulting and executive coaching group, the Memo I Never Got (MING), the participants will co-design the program. Together, they will engage in discussions shaping program content, activities, and selection of speakers. This initiative not only amplifies the voices of leaders of color but also integrates their unique perspectives and collective wisdom into The Pinkerton Foundation’s work, ultimately strengthening its sector.
Expressing excitement about this unique opportunity, Rosales says, “We’re grateful to the Pinkerton Foundation for selecting HMI to participate in the PSLN program. My hope is that through the exchange of creative ideas and collaborative strategy development with fellow program participants, I will be well-equipped to drive positive change within our organization and the broader community. I’m truly honored to represent Hetrick-Martin Institute.”
The program will conclude in January 2025 with an intensive two-day gathering outside the city, providing an opportunity for deep reflection and collaboration among the participants.
“We are immensely proud of Alayne. She has been a vital part of our team, and we’re confident that she will be an asset to the PSLN program, bringing her extensive experience and astute insights to the table. I believe HMI will greatly benefit from the innovative solutions and fresh perspectives Alayne brings back, as they will contribute to fortifying our mission and 45-year legacy of serving LGBTQIA+ youth,” remarked Amy Harclerode, HMI Chief Executive Officer. “I’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to The Pinkerton Foundation for their continued support over the years, through grants that have sustained our efforts and empowered us to expand our impact through youth career development programs like Queer Coders.”
