HMI is redefining the standard of care for LGBTQIA+ youth of color. The increase in mental health care requests from queer and trans youth of color over the past couple of years has been alarmingly high. Plans are underway to:
- provide easy and quicker access to our wellness services to a larger population of LGBTQIA+ young people;
- build a dynamic network of service providers in other youth serving organizations; and
- advocate for an expanded view of care interventions with funders.
This is only possible with your help! This holiday season, we ask that you please consider making a donation to ensure that queer youth throughout NYC and beyond, who are seeking health and wellness care, can easily get the services they deserve.
A COMMUNITY FOR LGBTQIA+ YOUTH
Our staff, board members, as well as current and former youth members share why HMI has been a community of wellness and hope for thousands of LGBTQIA+ young people for more than 40 years.
