As LGBTQIA+ leaders and thought partners, HMI’s Training and Capacity Building (T-CAP) team is committed to strengthening individuals, organizations, and communities across New York. Through comprehensive learning initiatives, we help foster environments that celebrate diversity, advance equity, and build lasting support for LGBTQIA+ individuals—especially those from underserved and marginalized communities.

Our Work:
Interactive Trainings: We offer research-informed, interactive sessions that share best practices and proven program models for supporting LGBTQIA+ youth.
Multidisciplinary Approach: Our trainings integrate youth development theory, policy advocacy, clinical frameworks, and practical tools to help organizations create safer, more inclusive spaces for educators, clinicians, and other professionals.
