I am writing this letter to all of you to know that you have ansupportive "ate" (pronounced as ah-teh) (Tagalog for big sister) all across the Philippines cheering and rooting for all of you. I love you for who you guys are and I want you to know that you are accepted and loved.

Your futures are bright, so don't be afraid to be brave, bold, and true to yourselves. As Lady Gaga wisely sang, "I've had enough, I'm not a freak, I just keep fighting to stay cool in the streets." Remember, in your ate's eyes, you are beautiful young individuals with immense potential.

But I assure you, their fears are not your responsibility. It’s theirs to manage. Your responsibilities are to be true, kind and honest with yourself, and sharing that strength with others. But remember are not alone.
