Peace Portal is a quiet space for HMI members and Staff, Monday through Friday from 4 to 6pm. A chill space for meditation, homework, research, resume-building, job searches, napping and other quiet activities. There are 9 laptops available for use upon request. Meet in room 305.
Skin Deep will explore face-painting and cosmetics as a form of expression to promote body awareness and acceptance. Each week will begin with a short movement/meditation exercise, and after we will discuss themes of protection, connection, and transformation as they relate to our experience of our bodies to guide the art-making!
