Email hmiyouth@hmi.org for more information. \n\n\n\n\nRealness: Inspired by the hood aesthetic\, bring an all-red look featuring a bandana in any style or color.\nRunway: Denim\, denim\, denim! Your look must incorporate jeans (whether it’s an all-jean ensemble or a classic white tee with jeans). Either option works\, but denim is a must.\nStreetwear: With a late 90s/early 2000s aesthetic\, be creative and think outside the box with a look having different accessories such as bracelets\, chains\, and gems to elevate your style.\nFace: It’s date night! Present an all-black look with a rose to set the mood.\nCommentator vs. Commentator: We love cartoons! Bring in a late ’90s to early 2000s cartoon-themed shirt or outfit. Incorporate the word “cartoon.” in your chant for your 10s.\nPerformance: Think of the clubhouse vibes of NYC Ballroom from the late ’90s and early 2000s. Your look should fully embrace this era across all categories. Do your research and be creative. \n\n\n\n\n \n
